Dr. Josef Schenker

An experienced emergency physician, Dr. Josef Schenker is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients in emergency medical situations. Renowned for his vast medical knowledge and deep compassion, Dr. Schenker is adept at analyzing critical cases in high-speed settings.

As Medical Director and Partner of Centers Urgent Care, Dr. Josef Schenker oversees the treatment and complex procedure rooms in this state-of-the-art facility. Centers Urgent Care includes a pediatric suite, allowing them to provide care to children in addition to adults and senior citizens.

Dr. Schenker uses his expert assessment and intervention skills in his position as Medical Director of SeniorCare Emergency Medical Services, one of the largest ambulance providers in New York City. As Attending Physician at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, he directs and coordinates the care of patients with varying medical needs.

In his role as Chairman of NYC REMAC, Dr. Schenker works to ensure that treatment policies and procedures are up to state standards.

Dr. Josef Schenker has achieved board certification in Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Medicine. His collaborative work with diverse teams provides prompt and efficient emergency care to patients.
